Working as a Team
Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success. ~Henry Ford
No matter where you work, chances are that successful team work is part of your job. Why is that? Because, the breadth and complexity of today’s challenges, not to mention the flexibility and responsiveness needed to address them, requires diverse viewpoints and perspectives and therefore many people working together.
Think Outside works with new teams, groups that want to perform better. Our activities result in
...more cohesive teams,
...effective, honest communication,
...greater awareness of strengths and weaknesses of team members,
...forums where everyone contributes to solve problems, and
...aligning individual tasks and activities into coherent/powerful movement.
Depending on your teams particular needs, our work with you can be at 3 different levels:
Team Fun - results in stronger relationships among team members and can include rafting, rock climbing and repelling, and horse activities.
Team Building - results in stronger relationships and greater awareness of team dynamics, individual strengths and new perspectives. We use rafting, rock climbing, equine assisted facilitation, and professional processing and reflection and help our customers apply lessons about communication, trust, and problem-solving from these activities to the work environment.
Team Development - results in improved communication, full team member engagement, conflict resolution and problem-solving. These longer engagements are tailored to allow participants time to explicitly practice new skills.
Each level of learning to work as a team has its purpose and role to play in making your company more successful.
