What is Professional Coaching?

Coaching is a powerful dialogue – typically offered over the telephone in 30 minute, 45 minute or 60 minute sessions – designed to help people who are motivated to be great at whatever they do - be the best they can. Coaching can also be done in small groups of people facing similar issues with a 90 minute format.

A professional coach helps clients explore ideas, try on new approaches and new behaviors, figure out and remove obstacles and barriers, eliminate distractions, develop new opportunities and much more. Professional coaching is best done with people who are willing to commit the time for the coaching conversation and to take some action of their choosing between conversations to advance their agenda. In our experience people being coached begin to see results in the first coaching session; they can realize considerable results for themselves initially in two phone calls a month over three to four months.

Coaching for Managers & Leaders

Our Group Coaching service offers an inexpensive way to support leadership growth and change. We are offering coaching in partnership with our Colleagues at Managance Consulting and Coaching.

Coaching is a series of dynamic conversations that significantly improve your performance and achievement. Our strategy is built around:

Group Coaching Via Telephone and Email (for up to 6 leaders). You get:

  • opportunities to tap into your group’s collective wisdom.
  • chances to explore and test out new ideas with your peers.
  • varied perspectives on dealing with stressful situations.

The calls are generally structured as follows:

  • 10 min of information sharing on variety of topics of interests to the particular leadership group
  • 30 min open conversation about this issue
  • 20 min of in-depth coaching for one or two group members on the issue
  • 20 min of application of the coaching session to all group members
  • 10 min action items
